Revelation 16
Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven sacrificial bowls of God’s fury onto the earth.”
So the first angel went and poured out his bowl onto the earth; and a foul and malignant ulcer broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and those who bowed down to its image.
The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood like that of a corpse, and every living creature in the sea died.
The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water; and they became blood. 5And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “Just are you, the One who is and who was, the Holy One, because you have executed this judgment; 6for they poured out the blood of the holy ones and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They have received what they deserve.” 7And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Ruler of All, true and just are your judgments.”
The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was permitted to scorch the people with fire. 9The people were scorched by the fierce heat, and they slandered the name of the God who has the authority over these strikes; yet they did not change their minds to give him glory.
The fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People chewed their tongues from the pain 11and slandered the God of heaven because of their pains and their ulcers; yet they did not change their minds about their deeds.
The sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun. 13Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are spirits of demons performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them for the war of the great day of God, the Ruler of All.
“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes ready, so that he does not walk around naked and let people see his shame.”
And the spirits gathered the kings together to the place called in Hebrew Harmagedon.
The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air; and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, “It has happened!” 18And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder; and there was a massive earthquake, such as has never occurred since humanity appeared on the earth, so great was this earthquake. 19The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. God remembered Babylon the Great, to give her the cup of the wine of his furious wrath. 20Every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found. 21And huge hailstones, weighing nearly a hundred pounds each, fell from heaven upon the people; and the people slandered God because of the strike of the hail, because that strike was exceedingly severe.
