Colossians 4

Masters, provide justice and equality to your slaves, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Devote yourselves to prayer, staying alert in it with thanksgiving. 3At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open a door for the word, so that we may speak the secret of the Christ—for which I have been bound in chains— 4so that I may make it clear, as is necessary for me to speak.

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward those on the outside, purchasing every opportune moment. 6Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each individual person.

Tychicus, my beloved brother, faithful ministering servant, and fellow-slave in the Lord, will make all my affairs known to you. 8I have sent him to you for this very purpose: so that you may know how we are and that he may encourage your hearts. 9He is coming with Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of your own. They will inform you about everything here.

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner-of-war, sends you greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him), 11and Jesus, who is called Justus. These are the only ones of the circumcision who are my co-workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a source of comfort to me. 12Epaphras, who is one of your own and a slave of Christ, sends you greetings. He is always wrestling on your behalf in his prayers, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in everything that God wills. 13For I testify for him that he has worked with great pain for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis. 14Luke, the beloved physician, sends you greetings, as does Demas.

Greet the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and also Nympha and the assembly that meets in her house. 16When this letter has been read among you, arrange for it to be read also in the assembly of the Laodiceans, and see that you also read the letter coming from Laodicea. 17And say to Archippus: "Pay attention to the ministry that you received in the Lord, so that you may fulfill it."

This greeting is in my own hand—Paul’s. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
