Revelation 19

After these things, I heard what sounded like the roar of a massive crowd in heaven, shouting: Hallelujah! The victory, the glory, and the power belong to our God, 2because his judgments are true and just. He has executed judgment upon the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has vindicated the blood of his slaves, demanding it from her hand.” 3And a second time they shouted: Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up into the ages of ages.”

Then the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and prostrated themselves before God, who is seated on the throne, saying: Amen! Hallelujah!” 5And a voice came out from the throne, saying: Give praise to our God, all you his slaves, and you who fear him, the small and the great!”

Then I heard something like the roar of a massive crowd, like the sound of many crashing waters, and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, shouting: Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Ruler of All, has begun his reign. 7Let us rejoice and exult, and we will give the glory to him, because the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8It was granted to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and pure.” (For the fine linen represents the just deeds of the holy ones.)

And the angel says to me, Write this: Flourishing and fortunate are those who have been invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” Then he tells me, These are the true words of God.” 10I fell at his feet to prostrate myself before him, but he says to me, Don’t do that! I am a fellow-slave with you and your brothers and sisters who hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. Prostrate yourself before God! For the testimony of Jesus is the breath of prophecy.”

Then I saw heaven standing open, and look—a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in justice he judges and wages war. 12His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many royal diadems. He has a name written on him that no one knows except himself. 13He is clothed in a garment dipped in blood, and the name he has been called is The Logos of God. 14The armies in heaven were following him on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and pure. 15From his mouth comes a sharp, two-edged sword so that with it he may strike the nations; he will shepherd them with an iron rod. He himself treads the winepress of the wine of the localized fury of the wrath of God, the Ruler of All. 16On his garment and on his thigh he has a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Then I saw a lone angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven: Come! Gather together for the great feast of God, 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of military commanders, the flesh of the powerful, the flesh of horses and those who ride them, and the flesh of all people—both free and slave, both small and great.”

And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to wage war against the one sitting on the horse and against his army. 20And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence—the signs by which he deceived those who had received the brand of the beast and those who prostrated themselves before his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 21The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of the one sitting on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
